Ambassador of Ukraine Vasyl Zvarych was invited to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized Warsaw's actions related to the introduction of a grain embargo. This was reported by Polsat News.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement in which they expressed a "strong protest" against Zelensky's statements.
"The deputy minister conveyed the Polish side's strong protest against yesterday's statements by President Zelensky at the UN General Assembly that some EU countries pretended to be in solidarity, indirectly supporting Russia," it said.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland, Pawel Jablonski, emphasized that this statement is not true about Poland.
He also said that putting pressure on Poland in multilateral forums or appealing to international tribunals are not appropriate methods of resolving disputes between countries.
The deputy minister also expressed concern over recent public statements by senior Ukrainian officials, who, in his opinion, "are trying to impose a one-sided view of the multifaceted problem of Ukrainian agricultural exports to neighboring countries."
