Ukraine does not intend to use ATACMS missiles to attack Russia - Danilov

The Ukrainian military will not use long-range ATACMS missiles to attack Russian territory. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said this in an interview with the Spanish newspaper ABC.

"We will not use them on the territory of Russia, we have agreements on this issue with our partners," Danilov explained.

He also emphasized that ATACMS missiles will be used exclusively for the defense of Ukrainian territory.

As a reminder, the media reported that the United States may announce its decision to provide Ukraine with a "small number" of ATACMS with a cluster warhead as early as this week.  The White House has not officially confirmed this.
