Morawiecki threatens to ban other products from Ukraine

A ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine is in Poland's interest. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Ukrinform reports.

Morawiecki noted that he had given an ultimatum to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to continue importing Ukrainian grain after September 15. And because Brussels did not do so, Warsaw imposed a ban unilaterally, as it is in Poland's national interest.

"Until a mechanism of cooperation is developed, we will act in this way with regard to all products from the east, because the interests of the Polish farmer are in our national interests, this is the most important thing for us," the Polish Prime Minister emphasized.

According to him, Russia, not Polish agriculture, should pay for the war.
