President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs named three main factors that, in his opinion, could make Russia think about ending the war in Ukraine.
In an interview with the Helsingin Sanomat, he emphasized that events in Ukraine do not unfold like a Hollywood movie and take time.
The first factor he mentioned is the confidence that the West will support Ukraine regardless of the circumstances, pointing to the economic potential of the United States, Europe and Canada.
The second factor is the West's willingness to increase the production of weapons, including shells, missiles, drones, and tanks, that Ukraine needs, as well as to strengthen its own military resources.
And finally, the third factor that could force Russia to reconsider its position is Ukraine's progress on the battlefield, which would demonstrate to Russia that all its dreams of occupation are in vain.
