The Chief of the General Staff of the Romanian Armed Forces, Daniel Petrescu, has announced that Russia is actively and constantly interfering with the GPS communication of ships in Romanian territorial waters, which could lead to incidents. This was reported by Romania Journal.
According to him, both Romania and NATO should be prepared for prolonged resistance from the Russian regime.
"The war has returned to Europe. This is a war chosen by Russia, which for Ukraine is a war for national survival and a struggle for Western values. We do not see the end of this war now, and although we admire the resilience of Ukrainian society in the face of Russian attacks," Petrescu said.
He also emphasized that Romania is particularly sensitive to this resistance, especially on NATO's eastern flank and in the Black Sea region.
