Morawiecki expressed readiness for changes in the Polish government

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has expressed his readiness to form a new government after the parliamentary elections. This was reported by the Office of the Prime Minister of Poland on Twitter.

"Traditionally, the president entrusts the formation of the government to the party that has shown the highest results. We will create a stable government that will be able to lead Poland through various challenges," Morawiecki said.

It should be noted that since 2015, the conservative "Law and Justice" party has been in power in Poland, which has a mono-majority in the Sejm. The Prime Minister and President of Poland are also nominees of this political force.

However, the Polish media note that if the opposition parties unite, they may gain a majority in the Polish parliament - more than 231 votes.
