At the moment, the situation at the front is such that neither the Defense Forces of Ukraine nor Russian troops can break through the front line due to the reliable air defense of both sides and the huge front line. This is stated in the UK's daily intelligence review.

According to British analysts, in the south of the country, the Ukrainian offensive remains relatively static between two main lines of well-prepared Russian defensive positions. Meanwhile, in the Avdiivka area, a large-scale Russian offensive has encountered strong Ukrainian defense.

"The main factor behind this is likely to be the relative weakening of tactical aviation. Both sides maintain reliable air defense, which does not allow combat aircraft to provide effective air support for assault operations," the report said.

The geographic scope of the conflict also complicates offensive operations.

"It is difficult for both sides to gather forces capable of making a breakthrough, as most of the mobilized troops are needed to hold the 1,200 km long contact line," the British Defense Ministry added.
