Uhryniv-Dolhobychiv checkpoint is open for empty trucks leaving Ukraine - State Border Guard Service

The Uhryniv-Dolhobychiv checkpoint on the border with Poland was opened for empty trucks leaving Ukraine on the night of December 4. This was announced by Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a telethon.


"The agreement that was reached between Ukraine and Poland to further unblock all traffic directions and reduce the number of queues at the border with Poland. In fact, from 01:00, the checkpoint "Uhryniv-Dolhobychiv" started processing trucks weighing more than 7.5 tons that cross the border empty to leave Ukraine for Poland," said Demchenko.


According to him, as of 07:00 a.m., 30 trucks crossing the border have been cleared in just 6 hours.


"Let me remind you that these vehicles are not moving through the "eCherha" system, but through the general live queue. As of this morning, about 60 trucks were waiting to cross the border," added the SBGS spokesman.
