Ukraine’s military on Tuesday claimed Russia had lost around 800 more troops in the past 24 hours, bringing Moscow’s total casualties in the war to about 1,083,790 since the invasion began in February 2022.

In its daily update, the General Staff in Kyiv also reported that Russian equipment losses included one tank, four armoured vehicles, 53 artillery systems and 170 drones.

According to the figures, Russia has now lost 11,156 tanks, 23,233 armoured vehicles and 32,301 artillery systems since the start of the war. Ukraine also claimed to have destroyed 422 aircraft, 340 helicopters, more than 55,000 drones and 3,664 cruise missiles.
