The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday said Russian forces sustained more than 1,500 casualties over the past 24 hours.
The figures show Russia has lost an estimated 1,428,930 personnel (killed and wounded) since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, including 1,520 casualties recorded during the past day.
The Ukrainian military also reported the following cumulative Russian equipment losses between 24 February 2022 and 19 July 2026:
Tanks: 12,156 (+5)
Armoured combat vehicles: 24,963 (+7)
Artillery systems: 46,261 (+92)
Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,950 (+4)
Air defence systems: 1,505 (+3)
Aircraft: 438 (no change)
Helicopters: 354 (no change)
Ground robotic systems: 1,956 (+13)
Operational-tactical UAVs: 416,656 (+1,858)
Cruise missiles: 4,915 (+1)
Fast attack craft/boats: 34 (no change)
Submarines: 2 (no change)
Vehicles and fuel tankers: 122,289 (+547)
Special military equipment: 4,430 (+2)
