Eleven people were killed and 14 wounded in an airstrike by Russian troops in Kharkiv earlier today, including a seven-year-old child, Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration has confirmed.
He stated that occupiers have become active in the region, also using slow-moving mines which come into play if a person touches them or performs any other action nearby.
Kyiv says that thousands of civilians, including 183 children, have been killed in the country since the beginning of Russian invasion on February 24.
The Ukrainian authorities say that Russia would launch mass attacks this week as Russian President Vladimir Putin has plans to “make control of the country” until May 9, the Day of Victory, marking the defeat of Nazi Germany by Soviet troops.
