A total of 177 children have been killed and more than 336 injured since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine informed.

Most children – 108, were affected in the Donetsk region, the Prosecutor’s Office noted.

“These figures are not final, since work is underway to establish similar cases in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” they wrote.

The Prosecutor’s Office added that 938 educational institutions in Ukraine were damaged by shelling, 87 of which were completely destroyed.
