332 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia, 343 people recovered

According to information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 26,700 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 17,307 tests with antigen tests and 9,393 PCR tests.
Testing revealed 332 newly confirmed cases of the virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 274,377.
As for the positive rate, as of March 11, the daily rate of positive is 1.24%, for the last 14 days – 1.49%, and for 7 days – 1.72%.
In the last 24 hours, 343 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of people recovered to 267,764.
There have been 12 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,634 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 332 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 185 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 20, Imereti – 51, Kvemo Kartli – 8, Shida Kartli – 14, Guria – 13, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 18, Kakheti – 20, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 0, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 1, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 2.
Currently, there are 2,953 active cases of infection, of which: 1,310 people are treated in hospitals, including 656 in Tbilisi hospitals, 134 in Adjara, 258 in Imereti. At this stage, 275 people are seriously ill, including 118 in Tbilisi and Adjara. 20, in Imereti – 80. There are 75 people on artificial respiration, of which 50 in Tbilisi, 4 in Adjara, 8. in Imereti – 130 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 101 in Tbilisi, 25 in Adjara. 1,513 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in a residential apartment.

At this stage, 5,480 people are in self-isolation, including 2,456 in Tbilisi, 502 in Adjara and 684 in Imereti.
