513 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Georgia, 96 people recovered

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 22,127 studies were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours, including 14,103 studies with antigen tests and 8,024 PCR tests.
As a result of the testing, 513 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 273,650.
As for the positive rate, as of March 9, the daily rate of positive is 2.32%, for the last 14 days – 1.50%, and for 7 days – 1.83%.
In the last 24 hours, 96 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total to 267,111.
There have been 12 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 3,613 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread.
Out of 513 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 264 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 30, Imereti – 88, Kvemo Kartli – 15, Shida Kartli – 44, Guria – 15, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 26, Kakheti – 16, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 7, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 3, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 5.
Currently, there are 2,900 active cases of infection, of which: 1,342 people are treated in hospitals, including 663 in Tbilisi hospitals, 145 in Adjara, 257 in Imereti. 23, in Imereti – 78. There are 72 people on artificial respiration, 44 of them in Tbilisi, 3 in Adjara, 9 in Imereti. 111 people are accommodated in clinical hotels, including 92 in Tbilisi and 12 in Adjara. 1,447 people are undergoing treatment for the virus in their homes.
There are 243 people in quarantine areas, including 148 in Tbilisi and 17 in Adjara.
In total, from October 6 to March 9, 23,581 people were transferred from the state border to quarantine areas.
At this stage, 5,262 people are in self-isolation, including 2,384 in Tbilisi, 470 in Adjara and 679 in Imereti.
