Law enforcement officers from the Adjara Police Department in Georgia’s southwestern region have arrested two foreign nationals in connection with the illegal acquisition, possession and facilitation of the sale of large quantities of narcotic substances, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Sunday.

The alleged offences carry a prison sentence of up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

The Ministry said during searches of the suspects’ residences and other locations, officers seized a “significant quantity” of narcotics prepared for sale, including Mephedrone, Methadone, and Alpha-PVP.
