Alexander Oniani, who died during the battle of Shindisi, was awarded the title of National Hero of Georgia

The President of Georgia awarded the junior sergeant Alexander Oniani with the Order of the National Hero of Georgia and the title of National Hero of Georgia (after his death) for his outstanding courage, outstanding heroism and self-sacrifice in the fight for the protection and unity of the homeland.

The relevant decree was issued by the President of Georgia today, on August 11.
