Anna Dolidze’s party expected to enter local election race

Anna Dolidze’s political party, For the People, is reportedly preparing to take part in Georgia’s upcoming local elections, according to a report by the Primetime news agency.

While the party has not officially confirmed the decision, Rustavi 2 reported on Tuesday that the For the People press office is currently neither denying nor confirming the information. The party has stated that its leader, Anna Dolidze, will announce the final decision later this week.

Dolidze, a lawyer and former deputy minister of defence, left the Strong Georgia opposition coalition in June.
