Protesters gathered outside the Central Election Commission (CEC) are staging a march following the conclusion of the CEC’s summary session. The demonstrators are voicing their opposition to the finalized election results and are demanding new elections.

Aleko Elisashvili, a member of the Coalition for a Strong Georgia, emphasized that the protest will persist and the CEC’s decision will not be accepted.

“We are protesting, and the police are shoving everyone—women, men, even children. They are dragging people around. We refuse to accept what has happened and will not give in. We protested at the CEC, and we will protest everywhere. That is our main goal,” Elisashvili stated.

Earlier today, the CEC released its final summary protocol, which declared Georgian Dream as the winning party with 53.93% of the vote, securing 89 parliamentary mandates.
