Armenia recognizes the State of Palestine

The Republic of Armenia has officially recognized the State of Palestine, according to a statement published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

The Ministry noted that Yerevan has endorsed the United Nations General Assembly resolutions calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the Ministry reaffirmed Armenia’s support for the two-state solution as a means to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“The Republic of Armenia affirms its commitment to the principles of equality, sovereignty, and the peaceful coexistence of peoples. The Republic of Armenia recognizes the State of Palestine,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
