At least 6 killed in Yerevan shopping mall eplosition

At least six individuals were reported killed in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, on August 14 after an explosion in a shopping mall’s fireworks storage area. 

The pyrotechnics were kept at the city’s Surmalu market. Local Officials expect that people could be trapped under the rubble.

According to preliminary data, the blast has left more than 60 injured, while 18 are still missing. 

 

The incident in the shopping centre took place at 13:23 local time.

The law enforcement are looking into the incident.
