The drone strikes in Azerbaijan reportedly injured two people

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has condemned drone attacks carried out by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Azerbaijani territory, stating that the acts of aggression will not go unanswered.

“The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan strongly condemns attacks by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on civilian infrastructure in our country, carried out without any military necessity. The ministry is preparing necessary countermeasures to protect our territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the safety of the civilian population and infrastructure. These acts of aggression will not remain unanswered,” the statement read.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Baku has demanded that Tehran provide a prompt explanation of the incidents, present clarifications, and take immediate and necessary measures to prevent similar events in the future.
