Former adviser John Bolton criticizes Trump’s comments on Ukraine

John Bolton, former national security adviser to Donald Trump, has responded to the president’s recent remarks regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Bolton described Trump’s statements about Zelenskyy and Ukraine as “the most disgraceful” comments ever made by a US president.

In his statement, Bolton emphasized, “Our support for Ukraine has never been charity. The way of life in our country depends on our strength abroad.”

Trump has expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of presidential elections in Ukraine during wartime, referring to President Zelenskyy as a “dictator without elections.”
