Chair of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada thanks Georgian people for support

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed his gratitude to the Georgian people for their solidarity and support for Ukraine amid Russia’s ongoing military invasion of the country.

In an interview on April 12, Stefanchuk recalled watching the solidarity rallies held for Ukraine in various Georgian cities.

“We feel the mutual support between our people. I think we will definitely resolve the ongoing issues between our states,” he said.

Stefanchuk further pointed out that Georgia ‘always’ supported Ukraine and co-authored ‘important resolutions.’
