The President of the European Council Charles Michel will pay another official visit to Georgia.

As Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream party, said on Rustavi 2 TV, the visit is expected to take place on July 19.

According to him, during the visit, the ruling team will provide the President of the Council of Europe with full information about the events of July 5 and the response of the government to the facts of violence.

“The visit is planned and as far as I know, it is going to arrive on July 19 or 18. In connection with July 5, we will also provide Charles Michelle with full information on what risks were expected, what risks were calculated, and how the law enforcement agencies acted.

We will provide information on everything, including how the state has reacted since then, unfortunately, this violence has already been committed. There is talk of further responses, specific arrests and investigations that are still ongoing. We will provide full information about this to Charles Michel, as well as other partners” – Irakli Kobakhidze said.
