The de facto Tskhinvali region so-called health ministry on Monday confirmed the transfer of three female patients to the Tbilisi-controlled territory, following an apartment fire the same morning, claiming the life of two minors and injuring four others in the Russian-controlled region.

“A 19-year-old girl and two women, 41 and 70 years old, will be hospitalized outside the republic,” the “ministry” said.

The Tbilisi office of the International Committee of the Red Cross, as a neutral intermediary organization, was now looking for a reception clinic for victims in Tbilisi, negotiations are underway, local media said.

The de facto authorities said that a male patient in the incident was in shock and refused his transfer.
