Tech billionaire and a vocal supporter of the US President Donald Trump, Elon Musk has sparked controversy by calling for elections in Ukraine, claiming that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would lose by a landslide.

Musk made the statement on X while sharing a post from @amuse, which alleged that Donald Trump’s team has met with key Ukrainian opposition leaders to discuss holding emergency elections to replace Zelenskyy. The post suggested that regime change could be the only path to peace and a way to avoid a global war.
