EP Rapporteur for Georgia Mikser meets president Zurabishvili

Sven Mikser, EP Rapporteur for Georgia, has held a meeting with President Salome Zurabishvili in Tbilisi and ‘discussed how to widen the space for political debate on urgent issues of concern to Georgian society.’ 

 

Zurabishvili says that her initiative on national reconciliation has been raised. 

 

The president believes that it is time for Georgian political parties to end rivalry.  

 

She says that making peace between the  parties matters for the country’s advancement and its success on its Euro-Atlantic path.
