Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan wants a meeting with him and that he learnt about it from Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Erdogan says that if Pashinyan is eager for the meeting then Armenia should take ‘positive steps.’

“If the meeting takes place, Turkey will establish diplomatic ties,” Erdogan said ahead of the UNGA 76th session in New York.

Pashinyan visited Georgia on September 8 when he met with Garibashvili and other Georgian top officials.
