Russia-backed Donetsk Court sentences former Georgian officla to 13 years in absentia

A court in the Russia-occupied Ukrainian region of Donetsk has sentenced a former Georgian official under the United National Movement Koba Khabazi to 13 years in prison in absentia.

The Donetsk de facto prosecutor’s office said Khabazi was accused of acting as a mercenary and fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian media reports said that Khabazi has been placed on an international wanted list.
