The European Commission has endorsed the release of 10 billion euros in aid to Hungary, part of a financing package previously frozen by the European Union last year.

Hungary is seeking the unblocking of a total of 30 billion euros in assets, with the Prime Minister’s advisor revealing this information to foreign media on Thursday.

In light of this development, the advisor suggested that Hungary may no longer oppose the initiation of membership negotiations with Ukraine.
