Kazakh low-cost carrier FlyArystan has launched seasonal scheduled flights between Atyrau and Batumi, with services operating from 14 July until 25 August.
The airline will operate one flight a week on the Atyrau-Batumi-Atyrau route, every Tuesday.
Georgia’s Civil Aviation Agency has granted FlyArystan the necessary permit to operate the flights.
Atyrau is the fourth Kazakh city to have direct flights to Batumi during the current season, alongside Almaty, Astana and Aktau.
Flights between Georgia and Kazakhstan are operated by Air Astana, FlyArystan and SCAT Airlines. The total number of weekly flights between the two countries is expected to reach 57 during the summer season.
