The For Georgia opposition party has addressed the state legislature to adopt the Ukraine Support Act as Russia continues to threaten the country’s security, building-up its troops near the Ukrainian border.

The party says that Russia’s actions at the Ukrainian border is a threat to the whole regional security and also concerns Georgia.

The For Georgia says that the Support Act must reaffirm Georgia’s firm support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and its western course, as well as condemn Russia’s aggression against the sovereign state.

The party also believes that the Georgian government should offer political, technical or any other support to the country if it is needed, and participate in all international events dedicated to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
