Zviad Gabisonia, a Doctor of Law and Professor, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. He was officially introduced to the ministry’s staff by Minister Givi Mikanadze, who congratulated Gabisonia on his new role and wished him success.

Gabisonia brings extensive experience from both the public and private sectors, particularly in education. His previous roles include Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, Legal Technology Expert at the Anti-Corruption Bureau, Adviser on digital governance and artificial intelligence legal issues at the Ministry of Justice, and Expert on digital education and AI at the Ministry of Education.

He is the author of 7 books and over 50 academic publications in fields such as international private law, technology law, internet law, artificial intelligence, and digital governance.
