GD polls: incumbent Mayor Kaladze wins Tbilisi race with 56.1% of votes

The polls recently released by the Georgian Dream (GD) ruling party says that incumbent mayor from GD Kakha Kaladze will win the Tbilisi mayoral race with 56.1 percent of votes in the October 2 municipal elections. 

 

The polls say that his opponents from the united opposition Nika Melia will receive 28.3 percent of votes, while ex-PM Giorgi Gakharia – 6.2 percent. 

 

GD says that they will receive 48.6 percent of votes in the municipal elections, the UNM – 27.1 percent and Gakharia’s For Georgia party – 5.8 percent. 

 

GD says that the polls were conducted between 4-8 September and 2,975 individuals participated in it. 

 

Edison Research polls commissioned by FormulaTV were also released yesterday.
