Security head meets Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia

Head of the State Security Service of Georgia, Geka Geladze, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Georgia, Faig Guliyev.

The parties discussed the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as key areas of cooperation in the field of security. The meeting also focused on regional challenges and issues related to maintaining security in the region, the agency press service said on Saturday.

Geladze stressed the importance of the strong cooperation between the security services of the two countries and expressed readiness to further deepen the partnership.

The Azerbaijani ambassador congratulated Geladze on his appointment as head of the State Security Service and wished him success in his future work.
