Georgian, Kazakh Interior Ministers discuss closer cooperation

The meeting took place in Lianyungang, China, where Geladze was attending the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum

Georgia’s Interior Minister Geka Geladze has met his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Sadenov to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries’ law enforcement agencies.
According to the ministry’s press service, the two ministers highlighted the “close and effective” cooperation that already exists and expressed readiness to expand partnerships across various areas. Geladze said the Georgian side was prepared to deepen collaboration with Kazakh colleagues.
The officials also highlighted the importance of sharing experience and best practices between their respective ministries.
The meeting took place in Lianyungang, China, where Geladze was attending the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum at the invitation of China’s Minister of Public Security.
