Georgia’s Interior Minister, Geka Geladze, has held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Georgia, Maksat Mamitkanov.

The parties discussed ways to deepen cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Georgia and the Kyrgyz Republic, the MIA press office said. 

During the meeting, Geladze highlighted the importance of strengthening operational cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fight against organised crime.

Both sides expressed hope that through joint efforts, ties in the field of law enforcement between Georgia and the Kyrgyz Republic would be further strengthened.
