Georgia FM meets outgoing French Ambassador

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili on Wednesday held a farewell meeting with France’s Ambassador to Georgia, Shéraz Gasri.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the talks focused on bilateral cooperation, regional developments, and Georgia’s European integration process. Both sides emphasised the importance of maintaining active dialogue and exchanging views to overcome common challenges.

The body added the importance of further cooperation on Georgia’s path toward the European Union was underlined, and hope was expressed that EU–Georgia relations would return to their “usual agenda.”

Botchorishvili thanked Gasri for her work in Georgia and wished her success in her future activities.
