Georgia reports 4,155 new cases of Covid, 2,507 recoveries, 40 deaths

Georgia has reported 4,155 new cases of coronavirus, 2,507 recoveries, 40 deaths.

 

49, 960 Covid tests were conducted in the reported period, including 32, 008 antigen tests and 17, 952 PCR tests.

 

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in Georgia in February 2020 stands 684, 337.

 

As for the positive rate, as of October 21-the daily positive rate is 8.32%m for the last 14 days-8.89%, for the last 7 days-8.99%.

 

The total number of recoveries since March 2020 stands at 624, 688.

 

9,657individuas have died from the virus since March 2020.

 

Out of 4,155 new cases of Covid, 1,352 were detected in Tbilisi, while the figures for regions are as follows:
