Georgian, Armenian parliament chairs hold 1st informal meeting in Tbilisi

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has met with his Armenian counterpart Alen Simonyan in Tbilisi informally “on his brief visit,” Papuashvili has tweeted. 

Papuashvili said that it was a pleasure for him to host Simonyan, noting that “we are determined to sew genuine friendship and partnership bonds, indeed.” 

Simonyan said in his tweet that it was the first informal meeting with Papuashvili, “the beginning of great personal friendship and fruitful cooperation for the benefit of Georgia and Armenia.”
