Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili paid tribute to Archil Tatunashvili, a Georgian national hero brutally murdered by the Russian occupation forces in Tskhinvali region, who would have turned 39 today.

In his statement, the Georgian PM highlighted that Tatunashvili gave away his life in order to defend his ‘homeland and dignity.’

“Along with all citizens of our country, I honour the memory of Archil Tatunashvili,” he said.

Garibashvili noted the Georgian government was using ‘all international and legal’ means in order to ensure that Tatunashvili’s murderers would be held responsible.
