Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili says that currently there is a war in the biggest state of Europe and that no one is able to stop the war, while sanctions imposed against Russia are ineffective.
He said that in this situation he will act ‘only based on national interests, only based on the interests of the Georgian people, only reasonably and very cautiously.’
“There is a serious war going on in Europe today. Europe’s largest state is at war and the Ukrainian capital is being bombed. No one is able to stop the war and let’s say directly that sanctions are not effective. “Let’s also say that Ukrainian soldiers and Ukrainian troops are at war in Ukraine today, therefore, we must remember well that the country and the whole world are facing serious challenges and in this situation any emotion and unplanned steps or actions is a great risk,” he said.Garibashvili once again slammed the United National Movement opposition party and accused them of not preventing a war in 2008 with Russia while they were in office.
