Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has addressed the people of Ukraine to reiterate her support for the country earlier today, marking a month since the start of the Russian invasion.

In a video address, Zurabishvili asserted Georgians stood by the Ukrainian people, as the latter had been fighting not only for their country, but also for Georgia and their ‘common European path.’

“We know what that means, and we know how courageous, how brave you have been in resisting for this first month. For this exactly 29 days, and it’s 29 victories that you have already won over Russia,” she said.

Zurabishvili wished Ukraine ‘success, victory and resistance.’
