Giorgi Gakharia, leader of For Georgia opposition party, met with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna at the Munich Security Conference 2025 (MSC2025) to discuss Georgia’s political crisis and regional security concerns.

In a post on X, Gakharia expressed gratitude for Estonia’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and its clear stance against Russia’s illegitimate “election” in occupied Abkhazia.

The two officials also addressed the ongoing political unrest in Georgia, with Gakharia highlighting that on the 80th consecutive day of protests, the streets of Tbilisi remain filled with citizens demanding the release of political prisoners.

“Estonia’s vocal support has been critical in standing with the Georgian people in their fight for a European future,” Gakharia stated.
