The Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Giorgi Jincharadze, has visited Abkhazia Public School No.2 to review infrastructure needs and discuss planned improvements.

Jincharadze was accompanied by the Abkhazian Minister of Education and Culture, Beka Gvachliani. Together with the school administration and teachers, they examined the current conditions and discussed rehabilitation plans.

The government official said ensuring a safe, comfortable and modern learning environment for pupils remains a priority for the Abkhazian authorities operating in Tbilisi.

“Creating a dignified educational environment for students is our main task,” Jincharadze said. “For this purpose, I am personally visiting Abkhazian public schools across the country to assess the situation. Minor rehabilitation works have already started in this school. The process will continue, and with support from the central government, all needs will be met.”

The Abkhazian Government-in-Exile continues to inspect schools serving displaced communities throughout Georgia, with the aim of upgrading facilities and improving conditions for students affected by the conflict.
