The Georgian government has annulled rental and lease fees, as well as fines for not paying the fees between March 21, 2020 and March 21, 2021 for individuals and legal entities who use state properties.

Economy Minister Natia Turnava stated earlier today that the individuals and legal entities suffered losses during the pandemic and the government decision aimed to ease their burden.

She explained that the annulment concerned the pandemic period in Georgia when the government was forced to impose restrictions to curb the spread of the virus.
