In Ukraine, 5 572 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day

In Ukraine, as of Monday morning, 5,572 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, 1,734 people recovered, 106 patients died, said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.

"5 572 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of March 8, 2021. In particular, 309 children and 123 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 2 136 people were hospitalized; deaths – 106; recovered – 1 734 people, "- wrote Stepanov on his Facebook page on Monday morning.

The number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic on Monday morning was 1 406 800 people, 27 128 – died from COVID-19, 1 198 254 people recovered.
