In Ukraine, 9 642 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day, 264 patients died

In Ukraine, as of Tuesday morning, 9,642 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, 6,202 people recovered, 264 patients died, said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.

"9 642 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of March 16, 2021. In particular, 474 children and 313 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 2,005 people were hospitalized; deaths – 264; recovered – 6,202 a person, "Stepanov wrote on his Facebook page on Tuesday morning.

The number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic on Tuesday morning was 1,477,190 people, 28,697 died from COVID-19, and 1,232,209 recovered.
