Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during his official visit to Georgia.

According to the Georgian Government Administration, the two officials discussed the strategic partnership and good neighborly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan. Emphasis was placed on the positive dynamics of bilateral relations in recent years.

The meeting also covered joint infrastructure and energy projects, highlighting their importance in the development of the Middle Corridor. Trade and economic cooperation were discussed, with both sides noting the positive trend in growing trade turnover between the two countries.

The regional situation was also a topic of discussion. Prime Minister reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the South Caucasus through dialogue and cooperation.
