Georgian PM expresses condolences over death of two children in Batumi

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic incident in Batumi that claimed the lives of two children.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred in Batumi, which took the lives of two children. It is difficult to find words to console the families who have lost their young children in this unfortunate accident.

On behalf of the Georgian government and personally, I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, their loved ones, and all those who share in this immense grief,” Kobakhidze stated.

The tragic accident occurred in Batumi on Saturday, where two young children, aged 4 and 5, fell into a water-filled trench in the “Dream City” area and lost their lives.
